In addition, ASMs are responsible for inspiring associates to embrace and achieve goals that enhance the customer experience. ASMs are assigned to Merchandising, Specialty Sales, Operations, or at certain stores, Night Operations. The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Manager include:* Working with the Store Manager to drive maximum profitability* Analyzing market trends in order to set and monitor sales goals* Ensuring store inventory meets customer demand* Training and supervising store and specialty staff associatesPreferred candidates will have three years of retailEssential Skills:Essential Skills:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Additional Minimum Qualifications:Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3 yearsPhysical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
